When will it reach you?
Button sits, unaided, at 14 cm — which sounds small until one is on your desk staring at you during a performance review.
The cap is worked separately in a deep post-box red and joined with a hidden seam so the dots sit flat instead of puckering. Each of the six cream spots is a small crocheted circle sewn on individually. Underneath, the gills are worked in a ribbed round that we are unreasonably proud of; nobody sees it and we did it anyway.
Weighted lightly in the base with glass beads so it will not tip forwards. Safety eyes, locked from inside. Sturdy enough for a nursery, cute enough that adults keep buying it for themselves and pretending otherwise.

Weighted base means it does not tip forward, which every other amigurumi mushroom I own does. The gills underneath are ribbed. Nobody will ever see them. I check regularly.
Bought it as a joke for my own desk during a rough sprint. Two colleagues have since ordered their own. It is a very effective silent coworker.
